What are some non-traditional jobs I could consider with an IT degree?

Hello and thanks for your question.
In all fairness I have minimimal experience with IT jobs.  I can tell you that having worked in careers services while in college I learned that many Universities have a portion of their Career Center website dedicated to your exact question.  They are called "what can I do with a major."  I did a quick search and the first one that came up was University of North Carolina Wilmington.  They have a page specifcially listing IT major career options.  Take a look and see if that clears up your path.  If anything strikes you as interesting go to the O Net website and see what the outlook is for that role and what kind of skills are necessary to be considered.  If all else fails, know that your school probably has a career services department that is a phone call away and would love to help you find your path.

Be well,

Hello! This is a great question! My question back to you is: What are your interests? What would you like to be doing? Your degree gives you a background in IT but it doesn't necessarily mean your career needs to be in IT. I would suggest checking your schools career page, LinkedIn, Indeed, other job boards for an internship to give you some hands on experience. This will help give you more answers in the career you'd like to pursue. When you've figured that out, you can always go back for your Master's and specialize in that area.
