I would suggest Googling other universities that offer the same degree in Design Technology- this might produce various job opportunities in fields or specialties that you might not have previously considered.
In addition to architectural, construction, big manufacturing, medical, fire safety & machining companies, interior design firms, etc. you might be able to leverage your skill set in an area such as interactive design- specializing in industrial product build outs or packaging.
Don't be afraid to think outside of the box as it relates to your background/capabilities and practice interviewing so you know how to sell why YOU are the best possible candidate for the position!
