I'm new to the US and I'm still waiting for my job permit but I would like to know where should I start looking for a job. I got a B.A. degree in English Language in Cuba. I don't know if I should look for a translation job (and if so, where to look) or look for another field. What would be your advise?

If you have any interest in teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) that may be a great place to start. Good luck!

I would recommend to use Indeed.com for your initial search. It will give you a broad range of potential jobs.

Welcome to the US.  I would suggest starting with LinkedIn.  it is a great way to network with other professionals, join a Group, and review jobs with companies in the area that interests you the most.  You can also look at other career search sites like Indeed.com or Monster.com.  I would caution you to make sure that you are not applying for any positions that you are not able to actually start working until your job permit is in place.  You do not want to do anything that will delay the process or cause an employment issue for yourself or the organization your are interested in the future.
