Hello! Most internships have a start date in the summer, however, there are some instances where internships/co-ops are for the fall/spring semester. If the internship is for a time outside of the summer, the job title or job description will typically indicate that. If you have a contact at the company that would be able to provide you with the start date information, I would say it's fine to reach out to them. If you don't, it may be hard to get in contact with the right person to provide the information. I would recommend applying for the internships and confirm the start date if you are contacted for a phone screen/interview. Best of luck!
