Hi! I think it’s great that your internship experience has opened your eyes and has allowed you to explore different paths within your function. It’s not uncommon that in the workplace, someone makes a functional change along their career path, whether it’s from Engineering to Supply Chain or Human Resources to Finance. If you can craft your application to tell your story of where you started in your major concentration and how that lead you to an internship that has allowed you to explore other opportunities, you will be in good shape. During interviews, be prepared to answer questions like “Why did you choose your major?” and “Where do you see yourself in 5 - 10 years?” It can help the interviewer understand where you started and how you came to the conclusion that you are ready for the next step. Best of luck!
