Take a breather, relax, let yourself have a real break. When you feel good and like you are ready to pound the proverbial pavement, talk to the people you encounter about what you'd like to be doing. Use this time to research job descriptions of the positions you are interested in, see what the requirements are and how different companies lay out their internship programs and entry level positions. Utilize LinkedIn to check out the work and education history of people you admire. Not only that, check out what they say about themselves and rework your own profile bio with those things in mind. A time when you don't feel rushed and like you have too many pressing priorities can be a great time to make lists of pros/cons on your chosen areas of employment. Set real goals for yourself into the new year and map out a plan to achieve them.
