HI there! Great question and one that is definitely on the minds of lots of job seekers. Most jobs have underlining core skills: customer service, teamwork, project management, communication, etc.. Review the new job requirements and skills/competencies. Then map the finding back to your current role to identify those skills that are transferable to the new role. This mapping process can be used to identify skills and competencies demonstrated on special projects that may fall outside of your normal day to day responsibilities.
You'd be surprised how many things you do now are a fundamental part of what you could be doing in the future! Best of luck!
