Hi there! I would consider your LinkedIn profile (and for that matter all your public social properties) to be part of your personal brand. What does that information say about you to a potential employer? What you have described above suggests you are an active member of LinkedIn with a broad range of passions and interests. Nothing about that is negative. Without knowing what you are following, I can't speak directly to it, but as long as none of it is inappropriate there would be no reason to think a business would be put off by you following a competitor.
Utilize the description of yourself on LinkedIn to talk about your interests and what you are utilizing the platform for. The words you use become part of keyword searches for recruiters. So craft a message that is in line with the outcome you are seeking. Ask a friend or colleague to look over your social spaces if you continue to be concerned about what a potential employer is viewing.
Last but not least, I do think being yourself is a strong part of personal brand development. So don't lose sight of that!
