As a junior in college, what is the most important aspect of planning my career that I can start implementing now?

Such a great question. The most important aspect, to me, is putting together a winning resume. Get guidance from your campus career center to do that. I know you asked for the "most important," but let's look at other aspects. Stay on top of your academics, get an internship, and build your leadership skills outside of the classroom. I mention those because your resume should capture how you excel in all of those areas. Again, great question and have a great rest-of-your-year!

Your junior year is a great year to start narrowing in on your real world experience and continuing to build upon your resume. A lot of larger companies really look at juniors for their internship positions and use that to build a pipeline for full-time employment, so it's important that you seek out opportunities that interest you and align with your career goals. You should also continue to build upon your extra-curricular experience. Ensure you are staying involved on campus and try to obtain at least 1 leadership position. Think quality over quantity! You want a position that you can really contribute to and make a difference.
