I was accidentally sent emails from a manager and Co worker talking about me, I was called a name and there was talk about messing up my desk to piss me off. I was very upset and sent a copy to a boss and left for the day. I'm not sure what to do?

I am sorry that this happened to you. That is completely inappropriate. If you have a business conduct line at your work I would first suggest calling that line. I would also suggest pulling in your HR rep. This behavior should be addressed and you should not have to address it.

I'm very sorry that you had this happen to you at work. I agree with Hallice, that is completely inappropriate behavior and shouldn't be tolerated. I think it would be best to schedule time or stop in and talk to your HR contact right away. Hopefully they will be able to help you get the situation straightened out. Once again, I am sorry that it happened to you - I believe you did a good job handling the situation.

I am so sorry to hear this happened to you. I would agree with Hallice and Carrie...definitely report this to the appropriate contact ASAP. Depending on your company, you should reach out to HR, your manager, the Business Conduct Line, etc. You should report it to whomever you are most comfortable with so they can launch an investigation. You handled the situation very well initially and I think it's important that you continue to remain professional throughout the investigation, or however the situation is handled.
