Does everyone in HR have access to all of the applications a single applicant has submitted or just those that the recruiter is responsible for? I've always wonder if one recruiter would look at all of my applications, choose one, and reject the others. How do you feel about applicants applying to multiple positions within the same company? Thanks!

Great questions! It depends on the ATS (Applicant Tracking System) and the company itself on how they handle their recruiting model. All recruiters can see which roles and how many positions a single candidate has applied to. As for the rest of HR, some don’t need to have access based on their role in HR or simply the company wishes to limit how many folks have access to various HR tools. Even with all recruiters having access to all applicants, they only focus on their open positions, and our team doesn’t mind seeing candidates applying to many roles, as it only helps the candidate get more visibility throughout our large company.
Good luck in your search!

It depends on the size of the organization and how large the talent acquisition staff is.   If it's a large company the jobs you applied to could belong to different recruiters.  In that case each recruiter would only look at the candidates for their positions.  I would recommend that when applying for jobs, you read the qualifications closely and only apply to those your are qualified for.
