Should I take an aptitude or personality test to help me find a job? If so, which would you recommend?

While some employers do use these tests as part of their interview process, you generally will not improve your chances during the interview process by seeking out and taking such tests on your own.

Hi there. This is a personal choice but an aptitude or personality test can assist you in assessing your own strengths and weakness.  This could be helpful in focusing your job search on positions that best leverages those strengths.  It could also help you when preparing for interviews.

Hi, while some company do conduct assessments for job fit and personality it may not help you in your search more broadly. If you are interested in learning about your strengths and aptitudes Strength Finders 2.0 is a great resource and can provide you valuable information and some perhaps guide you in your career search.
