I don't think it's naïve or uncommon to make a geographic move for your relationship, so I wouldn't worry about how it's perceived.
However, you could certainly answer the question without getting into too much personal detail - which is probably a safer idea in any situation.
You can say that you are moving there to be near friends/family. I think that would sum it up nicely. Additional probing on their part would probably not happen because interviewers want to stay away from information that would be irrelevant to whether or not you can do the job.
